WTB Strat/Tele pickups

I'm looking for some new pickups for my Strat, but have been trying with the idea of doing some routing and chucking a Tele set in with something nice and Stratty in the middle - if youre thinking of selling, here I am ideally under £150 for the 3, but who knows. Cheers

Edit - bonus points for a nicely priced BKP 63 set perhaps?

Fine if you are a Lowell George tribute act. Unnecessary for anyone else.

Behold, the Seymour Duncan APST-1 Twang Banger. Constructed on similar lines to a Telecaster bridge position pickup but without the need to hack into your guitar.

The Twang Banger does not make a Strat sound exactly like a Tele but, then, neither does an actual Tele pickup.

I have a spare Twang Banger, complete with box and instructions. I need to research how much/little it is worth.
    Be seeing you.

I'm not trying to get an authentic Tele sound, but it's something I've never tried and would be going in a guitar I'm never going to get rid of. Its just an idea that is going to annoy me until I try it I think. I'll do some research on the Twangbanger though :)

Try wiring the 2nd Tone as a Blend circuit, brings the Neck pick up into the bridge or the bridge into the neck
    My Trading Feedback

"If it smells like shit...It is probably shit"

The Blend circuit requires that the blend pot be zeroed EVERY TIME that you want the neck or bridge pickup on its own.

The so-called Half Blend circuit only adds the neck pickup to the bridge and bridge + middle selections. Thus, it is possible to flip to the neck pickup without needing to adjust the blend pot.

My preference is the Quarter Blend circuit. This only adds the neck pickup to the bridge pickup when the latter is selected. The other four selections are unaffected. This circuit requires an Oak Grigsby 12-contact, five-way selector switch.
