Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours is a monument to excess; fueled by enormous budgets, sleepless nights and mountains of cocaine. Earlier this year, the album celebrated its 40th anniversary and we decided to take a look at what exactly went into the recording and mixing process of this classic album.

I always thought the episode of Classic Albums about Rumours was great. I'd like to see it again to see if it still stands up, as I last saw it in the '90s.

I loved the album way way back when I had it on vinyl. After years of not playing it I finally picked up a CD a few years ago. I'll be honest, I wasn't as in to it as I used to be.

Loved this album for years as it was one of the cassettes my Dad had in his car. Got lots of playtime and over the 40 years has remained a favourite.
Every song is a belter and the production is just right.
One thing I have noticed more and more is just how bloody good and ‘right’ the drums / percussion are. Fleetwood is often overlooked in favour of more flashy drummers like Keith Moon, but he absolutely smashes it.
