Trying to figure out what's going on with this section of If I Die Tomorrow by Jack White

From 2:25 onwards



It sounds like some sort of double delay with bitcrusher. Any ideas?

    Sounds like a square wave tremolo set very fast to me, there's defo some kind of distortion probably a splattery fuzz before the tremolo.

    Some very interesting synthy sounds thrown in on sections of that acoustic album, love that sound on that song.

    On this live version it's the synth player providing that section, Jack hushes the guitar for that bit:

    There are some slicer pedals that cut up sounds like that if you wanted to get something close.. bit of fuzz or dirt and…
