TRADED Fender 57 Strat MIJ 1986 E Series £690

A mojo filled 1986 MIJ Strat, E series. Has seen some action but the neck is perfect - U shape and plays brilliantly with vintage size frets in great condition. Got this off fellow gent & fretboarder @gentlegiant via a trade.

Electrics have all been upgraded to Fender US 57/62 pickups, CTS pots, oak grigsby 5 way switch, cloth wire and earthed to the shielded body - red dime Luxe cap added.

The finish has stress cracks (finish only) common on some of the runs of these guitars, looks great and adds personality, to both front and back. Has finish chipped off where the strap joins the body (see pics) plus the side of the neck pocket.

After market back trem cover added as well as upgraded vintage springs (set of 5) and pick up screws. String tree has also been changed. Original tree, back plate, springs and pick up screws supplied with it - trem arm replaced which now works great plus spring so stays in place.

This plays and sounds great, its seen some life and has the scars to prove it - great feel and the neck a joy to play.
