SOLD - Fender Classic 60s Telecaster body, pickups, bridge plate [SOLD]

Now all sold on ebay.

This is a genuine Fender Classic 60s Telecaster body from 2000/2001 from a guitar I bought off ebay, which turned out to be originally Candy Apple Red which has been oversprayed in black by a third party (confirmed by Fender - see original thread).

I liked the neck but the extra layer of paint bugged me. I was planning to get this refinished but decided it would be cheaper sourcing a replacement body, which is what I’ve done now. The black paintjob is not too bad although it has chipped away around the string ferrules revealing the original finish so ideally it would be stripped with a heat gun and refinished. The black is not nitro as far as I can tell. It came fitted with straplocks so it’s had the matchstick/ wood glue trick applied to both holes. £120 posted.

I also have the bridge plate from the guitar (no saddles), £8 posted - now sold on ebay.
