Neck and Middle Seymour Duncan singles coils with 2 wires on each and plenty of length, too.

I've no idea what model they are as they were already in a used guitar that I bought, however, they have a No/2 sticker on the back and stamped on the backplate is 2 01. Anyone know?

EDIT: They're  SSL-2 Vintage Flats and thanks to @Funkfingers for the detective work.

I had them in an SSH configuration on a 5 way and I'd say that soundwise, they're quite woody and middy and not scooped and work well with low to heavier overdrive and good for Hendrix tones and rockier stuff.

Screws and covers supplied (Seymour Duncan wording faded on the latter).

Price.... as I don't know the model, say £40 PPG including P&P?

Trades
Zoom B1xON

Cheers

The 2 label indicates SSL-2 Vintage Flat for Stratocaster.

Your pickups are unusual in three respects:
    1) having the "oval" fibreboard baseplates with the output conductor soldering eyelets at the ends of the flatwork - like a Jaguar pickup or the "hot/modern" single coil models.
    2) having self-adhesive tape around the coil - like the "hot/modern" models.
    3) having push back cloth insulation whereas the "hot/modern" Duncan single coils have plastic insulation.

I suspect that your pickups are OEM, supplied to a company that likes to rout minimal pickup cavities.

Ideally, the pickup with the shorter output conductors would be reverse wound and reverse magnetic polarity to the pickup with the longer conductors.
    Be seeing you.

Thanks @Funkfingers and that's useful info.

The pickups came out of a Rob Williams Superstrat that has been sold on the forum at least a couple of times and I don't know if they're from the original build or SD made them for Rob Williams or retro-fits.

It's interesting what you say about the pickup cavities as the replacement pickups that went in were Tyler ones and the luther had to rout some wood out to install them and use a template.

    Cheers

He seems keen on tight direct-mount single coil pickup cavities. What I actually had in mind was Jackson/Charvel. Your pickups would certainly fit those.  :)
    Be seeing you.

You're welcome. SSL-2s are nice pickups. They will make somebody's day. I hope you charged £40 each and not for the pair.  :3

Nope. I know their worth but the buyer got them for the bargainstic price of £40 for the pair.
I've had some good deeds and bargains passed to me both here and outside, especially this week, and so passing on the goodness :)
