So, we went over to the US recently and met up with my wife’s cousin and her husband while we were there. I knew they were musicians and had been in various bands over the years but what I hadn’t realised is the guy is a serious bass collector. He’s got several 70s and 80s Precisions and Jazz’s which he’s mainly picked up at church music sales.

    Probably the most exciting/interesting  one he owns. This was Pino Palladino’s and he has the paper trail to prove the provenance. The story goes that Yamaha tried to get Pino to switch to them and made this one to his own specs. He played it for a while, didn’t like it and sent it back.

    Warwick Streamer Stage 1, made in Germany, regular/narrow nut. Hopefully, its MEC pickups are the active type rather than the hateful, passive Dynamic Correction ones.
