    Funny, I was thinking of getting one of these too, as I like the look of them, but didn't because they're a bit of a hindrance on the guitar aren't they? I've decided to spend the money on beer instead.

    It's probably irrational. It's my second tele with an ashtray bridge and I just keep wanting to try it (yes, mostly for pure aesthetics). I'd say there's a 20% chance it stays on long-term
