I'm after either a LR Baggs Session Align or LR Baggs Venue DI. Anyone got one going?

I would also recommend looking at the Session DI. It has the saturation and Comp from the Session Align, plus the DI features. The only thing to be aware of is that it doesn’t take 9V. I use phantom but if that’s not an option you’ll need to run off a battery.

    Good luck!

Thanks - according to the LR Baggs site it does take 9v

Would you have this as last in chain? It doesn't have an effects loop like the Venue and, as it has the DI out, I guess you'd want effects before it, but that seems a bit counter-intuitive

Yes, thats how i use it. I’ve done gigs with just this into the desk. More recently I’ve bought a Blackstar Sonnet 120 (which I love!) and this goes into the amp via DI.

I am actually just starting to play with effects before the Session. Last night I played a while with very light tremolo before the Session and it sounded amazing. I’m probably going to make a Phase 45 for the acoustic and make a mini board with trem, P45, and possibly a delay.

Ha, you’re right. Just took a look and there is a 9V socket which I’d never spotted during a few years of use!

I was about to list it on Reverb for a fiver less then the other one that’s on there - make me a lower-faff, fee-free offer :-)
