    I quite liked the look of those Oxfuzz pedals. Did you sell them on here? Which did you prefer?

    I preferred the regular over the Hybrid but I’d say the sound was very similar the feel of the hybrid was a a wee bit stiffer but both were excellent. I’ve just ended up with too many great Fuzz pedals inc a reeves 2n2 face. In the end at this degree of quality you’re messing with different shades of greatness and there’s too much stuff out there to chase! I just bought an analog man BC 108 in the USA that hadn’t even landed and today sold The Octaland. 

    As for the vega trem the tuning stability and travel is incredible, plus if it matters and it does to me the smaller neat  footprint is a thing of refined genius to look at. I don’t think it sounds as full as the original with the Callaham upgrades, but again it does more and I think tonally it’s more than acceptable. I am a Callaham nut I have 2 wraparounds and 2 LP assemblies and they really do sound fuller and somehow more even

    Interesting, thanks. Different shades of greatness is a good way of putting it and quite often it's just a case of matching the pedal to the guitar and amp. I've got a couple BJFE fuzzes at the moment and just sold another that I would have loved to have kept... can't keep them all though! The Octaland is great too, I've had one for a few months but there are so many other things to try, so I'm not sure how long it will stay.

    Yes the amp guitar pedal relationship is really impacting and as we all know how the pedals are powered I definitely noticed a difference with Rayovac batteries you can get on Amazon from USA I think £16 for 2 with drives and fuzzes and when it comes to the reeves which is non battery the power supply made a massive difference I prefer a truetone brick. Then you have to factor in whether it’s a full moon or not, that’s why with fuzzes I want to get it down to no more than 2 because they are the most temperamental animals in the jungle, I just don’t have enough time and energy let alone cash !!!!
