    Damn! The Hair prototype humbuckers are almost exactly the same colour as my Heartfield Talon - the one with SYD+/ST/NFA4 pickups.

    TBH, I would be a fool to change the pickups in the Talon. I like them so much that I just bought one of the special run "2012 Dog + NFA4" pairs from another Fretboarder who changed his mind without ever installing the pickups. (That's the second time that this sort of thing has happened!)
