Hi folks - after a set of Fender 52 pickups for my AVRI 52 or a Nocaster set - thanks!

    FYI, Fender also used to offer a hybrid set that they called Blackguard. 7.4k A5 bridge pickup. 7.0k A3 neck pickup like a Nocaster.

    I have tried CS '51 Nocaster pickups in an AVRI '52. The neck pickup was superb. The bridge pickup was ever so slightly disappointing - certainly when compared to an actual Fender CS Nocaster guitar. (Probably something to do with the huge Noke neck.)

    @Funkfingers thanks, just had a search for the hybrid set, nothing about ATM. I was checking out the Bareknuckle flat 52s as well. Thanks for the info on the Nocasters, I also checked out Oil City too.
