Feeler - WTB Bass amp
I've got some dep gigs playing bass coming up so I might be looking for a new bass amp.
Must be loud enough to gig, smaller and lighter the better but cheap and cheerful is good

You're a bit of a trek from me (I'm in Birmingham) but courier's possibly an option - I'm going to be getting rid of one or the other of my Trace Elliot combos soon-ish. Both Series 6 jobs, both have the same preamp section (the revered GP7); one's the 1x15 100W model, the other's the slot-fronted 80W.
Don't be fooled by the power ratings, either are totally giggable (I've done so with both, on less than half volume in a five-piece combating a Hammond
) - I would say though that if you're up against Animal on drums the smaller one may run uncomfortably hot over a long set.

That could do the job but I'm not sure it grabs me - I'll have a think and get back to you - I saw your post in mrleon's thread so don't hold it for me if he want one of them.
