Is the threat of increasing prices and escalating cost of living leading to a slowdown in bookings from pubs / clubs? I’m wondering how pubs and venues are going to handle this winter…

    Over here on the continent the news is not promising: pubs, bars and cafés I have been visiting to find an opening all tell me that for 40 Euros (about 35 quid) they can play any radio station non-stop all month and for them that is cheaper than hiring bands and means fewer non-customers in their establishment.
