Coda are useful on Swarts. Don't see them secondhand too often but you can go on Coda's mailing list

  • As Treewig1 says... Coda stock Swarts. They also stock Carrs... so you could try both manufacturers' products in one location.

  • No problem... it's just your post said 'looking for a new etc etc'

    Good luck with your hunt.

  • Hi, I know you said you were after a Swart or Carr but maybe you wod be interested in a Divided by 13?

  • That looks nice!  I'm really after one of the amps I played recently.  Just about all the Carrs were nice!  I really liked the Sportsman though.  Or a Swart Tremolo or AST would be ideal.

  • Sportsman would be my choice mate. A lovely sweet, warm tone...

@johnperry and @smogfalls will fill you in with more info I'm sure

  • In my view the Strymon Flint trem is very close to the Swart's. Don't let that seductive trem alone sell you a Swart, as I nearly did. The Carr Sportsman is sublime, as Waz says. Sweetest of the Carrs I've owned, though they all had different strengths

  • I am in full agreement on the Sportsman front. Best amp I've ever played... including my vintage princetons. Its the closest thing to a perfect amp in my opinion and I've tried sooooo many!!!
I use a simple little Lovepedal babyface trem for mine and it does the job perfectly. When compared side by side with the trem on my 69 Princeton it's extremely close!! I used to own a Swart AST and theres absolutely no comparison if you're into beautiful clean and mildly overdriven tones... the Sportsman is AMAZING!
