Helo all - 

Skariad are looking for a drummer to play in a ska covers band 

We play original 50's and 60's Jamaican ska as well as the 70's and early 80's stuff that came out during the two tone era. We dont do any third wave American punk Ska. 

So plenty of the specials, madness and the beat as well as things like Toots and the maytals and he Israelites etc. 

If your interested please get in touch - the band are based in North Wales -  though we've had a two year break due to covid we where a well established band that gigged regularly. Were aiming to return to gigging regularly and reestablish ourselves as a quality covers band

We typically play small festivals as well as some club nights and charity gigs in addition to bread and butter pub gigs. 

The band has a singer, a three piece horn section, bassist, keyboard and guitar player as well as a singer - though we take the band seriously we don't take ourselves seriously - its fun, no pressure and. enjoyable. 

We'd like a drummer who can play the one drop and who has some interest in reggae and ska as well as their own kit and a willingness to practice and gig regularly.
