I love these guys and they're ramping up to release a new album...for one-time Mercury nominees and in-house band on The IT Crowd, they're a bit low-profile!

I found them a few years ago on a sampler CD which fell out of a Steven Wilson album (they were label mates on Kscope at the time). It was the track 'Coloma Blues' from the 'Motorcade Amnesiacs' album:

Love this band. Got into them around 'Twice Born Men', and I'm absolutely LOVING the new stuff, it's just superb. 'We Are The Bright Carvers' is such clever songcraft and sonically incredible.

Surprised more folk have not name dropped them on this forum. They have been going a while and have had some interesting guitar orientated songs recorded over the years.

Yeah, I think Tim is a really tasteful/inventive player...always seems to be the right tone for the song too!

Oohh. I wasn't sure about them at the start but their song writing is very creative so they're starting to grow on me.

Yep, love em great as a 2 piece, Tim and Jana but as full band 1 of the best things to happen in the last 15 years both lyrically and musically for me. Checkout the video for Slingshot Grin with Indira Varma.

Yep, I am indeed, but where I am living, I doubt I will get to see them live anytime soon!
