    That’s very much a matter of opinion, I found the early versions quite dull sounding but I suppose it all depends on your setup and amp!!

    I heard that on version two they increased the input impedance to one mega ohm (which is supposed to be more guitar friendly) as compared to the previous 330 kohms…

    did that negatively affect the sound?

    Do your research.

      I'm only parting with mine as solely use my Rangemaster now.

    OCD is a wicked pedal though with all my tube amp's and I own a few.
