My pal is looking for a DXR 12 ( I have one which he likes) but sadly they can't be found new anywhere.

Ive looked at the EV ZLX 12 and they seem so much cheaper than the yams something must be different right?

The Headrush doesn't have the input he needs...

What you think ?

    The dxr are a lot better sounding than the zlx so I’d stick with those.    The other option to consider is selling the 12 and getting a pair of 10’s if it’s mainly for vocals.  Yamaha have a new range - dhm to sit below the dzr, they are supposedly good but I haven’t tried them yet.

    It’s for home use practice [ 2 inputs minimum) and as a wedge monitor at small gigs.
