SORTED Fender AV 65 Jag/Jazz Tremolo arm + Staytrem or Mastery Bridge

Hi folks, looking for an arm if possible to fit a an AV 65 plus Staytrem or Mastery bridge. Staytrem collet for US size trem also would be good, any help much appreciated. Cheers!

    There is no such thing as a Fender AVRI '65 Jaguar or Jazzmaster.

    If it is an AVRI, the supposed year being reissued is 1962. If your guitar is a '65, it must be an AV series.

    For once, this is not just me being pedantic. 

    There is a difference between the vibrato arm and collet design on the two series. 

    The AVRI '62 version had issues that the Staytrem arm and collet were intended to cure. The AV '65 arm and collet adopt the improvements introduced by Staytrem.

    A few years ago, I posted a photograph to illustrate the difference between the collet ends of the vibrato arms. I ought to update this to include the Fender AV '65 version.

    Short version. If you have a Fender AV65 vibrato tailpiece, there is no need to upgrade the collet. 


    IIRC, Fender first introduced these improvements on the Johnny Marr signature Jaguar. Rather than litigate Staytrem off the face of the Earth, Fender embraced their ideas.
