Are Gibson P90 dogears the same size as the Epiphone dogears?

I suspect that the Epiphone pickups and covers are Metric whereas the Gibson (and good replicas) will be Imperial.
    Be seeing you.

Yeah, you can't usually just switch the covers on Casinos, so your options for pickup upgrades are either a rewind using the original covers, or new pickups that have black covers. Be aware you also need the right heights if not using the original covers though. The Lollar guide is good, as are their pickups

Metal Casino P90 covers should be soldered to their baseplates to complete the grounding path.

You will have to either crack or melt the solder with each pickup temporarily resting on the top of the guitar. Use something to prevent scratching and catch any solder spatter.
