Oh boy!!

An updated Op-1.

More of an evolution, as opposed to a mark II.

Price is ridiculous but i did order one.

    Not a fan of it being slimmer by lowering the body around the keyboard.

    Hardly dealbreaker as I couldnt buy one at that price anyway! and I thought the original OP-1 was expensive!

    I suspect they will get away with it based on the reputation the original has, but yikes!

    I guess price increases are to be expected at the moment though.

    £2k is insane for a device like this.

    £2k gets you a new Mac Studio.
    Or a Digitakt AND a Digitone AND an Octatrack.

    It is silly.

    I really don't know, people seem to consider them in the status symbol category now rather than thinking about what they can do. 

    Like you say its over twice the price of what is considered a high end professional quality groovebox from Akai, Deluge, Elektron, Roland etc.
