UNPLANNED DOWNTIME: 12th Oct 23:45
SOLD: Rafferty Analogue Phase 90 (handwired, script switch and depth mods)
Bought this off him last year to replace the mini MXR Phase 95. To my ears there was no difference but with the added ability to control the depth. Very little home use and no pedalboard mounting. Reason for sale is I'm hoping to get one of the reissue Maestro PS1-A's when they come out.
£70 ppg including uk postage
Original (and still current) advert:
- Speed/Rate Control: As found on the original one-knob design, this control controls the speed or rate of the phasing effect.
- Depth Control Modification: This is an additional control knob which allows the user to dial in the desired depth or mix of the phase effect being heard
- Script/Block Model Switch: An external surface mounted toggle switch will flip between two different internal component values, allowing the user to experience the subtle Phase style difference found between the older "Script" lettering MXR Phase 90, and the newer versions which are identifiable by the more modern block lettering logo.
- Authentic "Fairchild" branded, digitally matched, 2n5952 quad set of transistors, for true analogue phasing. (These are becoming increasingly rare, difficult to source, and expensive).
- Genuine Taiwan Blue 3PDT Footswitch
- Neutrik high quality jack sockets
- Panasonic LESR audio grade capacitors and metal film resistors throughout
- Alpha Potentiometers
- Genuine Hammond high quality enclosure
- True Bypass
