FS: Nocturne Brain- Mystery Brain(s)
Don't ask but I've somehow ended up with two of these... Just after a week of saying I don't want to pigeon hole myself into a Rockabilly box. I also ended up with another Gretsch that same week...
Anyhow after playing them side by side and working out they sound exactly the same (Yep) one needs to go...
Both are the slightly more expesnive NOS TOSHIBA CHIP version. I've had the one without and it makes a difference... Maybe it doesn't then again I've bought the same pedal twice so don't listen to me.
There is loads online about these and even a dedicated facebook group, but in short its based on Brian Setzers tone from the Roland Space Echo with a Pre-amp with two stages and an Echo.... Yes most people who use them set them low for slap back but these pedals can do pretty much anything you want... There is an extra switch on the echo side which gives you a vibe/chorus effect .
I've got the classic olive green and a one off Surf green with custom dice knobs which was made as part of a charity auction.
They are quite expensive to get from the US with the shipping and customs so the price reflects that .
