FS: 2002/3 Fender MIM Strat neck w/Rosewood fretboard

CirrusCirrus Frets: 8281
Not totally sure how to price this, it's not a market I know well so if any impassive observer wants to tell me it's majorly under or over priced I'd absolutely appreciate the input.

Owned from new (bought in Warwick Guitars in celebration of finishing my A-Levels) & well played over 2 decades from my uni days and through many years of regular gigs, practices and recordings. Still useable but it definitely needs a fret job, especially on the lower frets. Dings on the headstock, two dents in the middle at the back under the 2nd fret (which I don't feel after 10 years but...), and one on the fretboard just below the 3rd fret under the E & A strings which can't be felt while playing but can be seen.

That's the bad bits. The Good: Original tuners which work smoothly, truss rod works fine. Sexy rosewood which I don't think MIM guitars have any more. Over 20 years the neck's stayed straight and true.

I'm selling it because my singer gave me an early '70s J.Torres neck from an '80s Frankenstrat monstrosity he was breaking up to sell as parts. Before that I was planning on getting the frets sorted and carrying on with this one.

Forum rules forbid comments on price.

What I shall point out is the cost of a professional refret, dress, reprofiling and new nut. Based on some of the well-respected repairers on this very forum,  a thorough job could easily set somebody back over £300.
    Be seeing you.

Ok, neck and £100 pile of cash free to a good home then

I presume the forum rules wouldn't be against a discrete PM since I invited guidance, FWIW I had a Gibson Explorer totally refretted with new nut for significantly less than £300 by a respected guitar tech in Birmingham. I suspect a fret redress would bea lot less, and some may have the skills to do that themselves. Obviously the sky is the limit for those who want to pay more!
