Dear ‘boarders, I’m looking for a list of songs with progressions made up of minor chords, preferably borrowed chords, not just i iv v, but they’ll do too.

Whaddya got? Here’s a few:

Emma Bunton: Maybe (from chorus to verse)
Ebm Cm Abm Cm Abm

Beverley Knight: Straightjacket (bridge, at 1:48)
Am Em Gm Fm, Am Em Gm Fm

Santana: Black Magic Woman (classic i iv v, though sometimes it’s a V)
Dm Am Dm Gm

    Just from googling:
    Artic Monkeys - 505
    Ed Sheeran - Sing
    ( Both two chord songs)
Secret Garden - Nocturne ( I think i iv v but some minor 9ths mixed in apparently in this 1995 Norwegian Eurovision winner)

Chase The Devil by Max Romeo is another i iv v early reggae song, probably more notable for the use of octaves on guitar.

And if you can count modal jazz as a song Impressions by John Coltrane is D and Eb minors.

Moves Like Jagger - Maroon Five
Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers
    Falling - Alicia Keys
Move On Up - Curtis Mayfield

    And last but not least...

Lick My Love Pump - Spinal Tap - D minor (the saddest of all keys)
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

Fairport Convention 'Who Knows Where The Time Goes?' has a strange bridge section which goes ii-iii-iv-iii, if I hear it right.

Seems to be a lot of Dream Theater with minor progressions!

Having mentioned it I thought I should listen to it! Ignore the Eurovision connection, it’s a very pretty and atmospheric piece of music.

Nightporter, Japan, not  single major chord in there Am Em, Dm and Bm in the bridge / chorus

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZVn9y0XfoI

works very well acoustically , esp at open mics

The chorus sounds more “upbeat” somehow  but just the minor chords

Waitin' Round To Die by Townes van Zandt is a nice i-iv-v song.

Oh and here's a good one:

Some ambiguous chords in there and a few majors, but a lot of excellent minor action. The intro in particular has a fine borrowed minor chord in it.

Was watching Equlibrium yesterday and it’s got a brilliantly clever progression to modulate down a semitone in a minor key, by going down a minor 3rd twice and then a perfect 4th.

    Fm - Dbm - Gm - Em

I can't think of a specific passage, but most of the 'villain themes' in bond movies are all minor chords.
