    The endpin supplied,the glorified bridge pin,is simply not up to the job of holding a guitar strap securely at all. A proper fitting will be in order in the near future.

    Just to show I don't buy many new guitars,and I've made this silly mistake before too,I thought I had a scratch on my guitar scratch plate. I got some very,very light textured wet and dry paper which I have used for fret polishing and started rubbing to get the scratch out. Lo and behold I'd forgotten to take the plastic shrink wrap material off the scratch plate. Doh!

    I've done that too.  Not with sandpaper, but I honestly thought I had a bubble in the scratchplate material.  It turned out to be the very sticky layer of clear protective plastic under the easy-to-peel thinner clear plastic top layer.
