I am in need of a cheap 5 string bass for recording bassic demos etc. Along the lines of a Gio Ibanez etc.

    Hi, just a suggestion,  when I first started playing 5’s I bought a Yamaha 415 for just under £200 and I’ve still got it, they are unbelievable value for what you get, they sound good and are very well built, and imo are suitable for any genre you play, might be worth keeping an eye out for one of those
