    On a point of detail, there is no such thing as "Tasmanian Blackwood". The name of the species is "Blackwood". See any botanical textbook.

    Where confusion with the (unrelated) African Blackwood is possible, "Australian Blackwood" is reasonable. But "Tasmanian" it is certainly not. It grows in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland too. Calling it "Tasmanian Blackwood" is like calling Quercus robur "Dutch Oak".

    Thanks chaps. It’s a stunner. Sold my 2018 ec  for a house move recently and regretted very quickly…. Thankfully I got 80% of what I previously paid on eBay with £1 seller fees so wasn’t such a big deal replacing it with a 2021! The neck profile on this is a softer V and better for it.
