Personally the colour wouldn't be my choice ,but that is irrelevant ; if you haven't played a Ruokangas then you havn't got a clue what you are missing.........this is an absolutely top ,top guitar at a very good price.

Bump for I found two fender guitar boxes in the loft, so posting not a problem (for two of them, or one double-boxed!)

  • SC Relics 1968 Paisley Telecaster in gold & red, rosewood board, 1964 Fender Vintage pickups
    • Clear 3mm thick pickguard (I added gold leaf to hide the neck pick-up rout but this is easily removed)

Thought that paisley would be long gone by now!! Not sure what you mean by covering the neck route but maybe removing the goldfoil might help... GLWTS :+1:

Thanks @lovestrat74.  The pickguard is clear so you can see the neck pickup pocket.  Most paisleys have pink spray around the neck pick-up to hide that.  I’ll remove the gold leaf.  Easily done!

Yes, I thought it would sell pretty quickly.  20 eBay watchers, too but that doesn’t mean too much I guess.

Don't remove the gold leaf -it's perfect.............as you sais ,exactly the gold version of the pink normal ( even on those the Pink is always a different colour to the guitar body )

Fair point @dominic.  I’ll leave the option out there.  I can leave the gold leaf or, it the buyer prefers, remove it.

Hi @glitterjet.  I have had some enquiries for parts.  I would like to keep the neck and body together (and I do enjoy playing it, to be honest but I now have five electrics, which is a lot for me).  Breaking up is hard to do, but I may bite the bullet.

  • It does look good for sure, from experience it can be a nightmare selling partscasters as the parts are usually worth more than the finished items, always swear I will not build another lol.   If you change your mind let me know.
