Bit of an odd one this I'll put it down to my age. Sometime ago I mentioned I was going to produce some solid ebony necks with gold frets and gold mother-of-pearl dot inlays. A member of the forum ordered one well I think it was a member of the forum, I can't find the correspondence. Next week I'm about to start to make two ebony necks, if you were the person who ordered one or showed interested in one could you please contact me.

    Yes I am still building, I've lost a couple of months in the workshop time this year because of building work going on, so that's put off retiring by at least two months.

    So you are retiring? I don't suppose you have any solid rosewood neck blanks that you won't be using?? Just the wood, not shaped at all. I'd be up for buying!

    Yes I am retiring, haven't got a date yet because of what I've already mentioned and the fact that I'm miles behind with my trade orders (15 X Les Pauls standards, 4 X 58V's more LPJ dc's and single cut that I care to mention, 6 X BM's plus loads of J and P basses) that's just from one of my trade customers. I might die of old age before I finish that lot. 

     I have lots of rosewood neck blanks, but not for sale as quite a few of them are technically sold as TC or Strat necks. You can get them from DD or timberline, quite expensive though.

     Just a reminder I'm not taking new commissions, if I have something on the shelf that is similar to what anybody wants I will finish it and sell it. I have got a stock clearing sale coming up possibly this weekend but more likely next weekend watch this space.
