This is the 68th Riff of the Month (RotM) Challenge.

The challenge is now open, and remains open for submissions until midnight on 24th October 2021.

All you have to do is ...

Write a riff. It could be anything from a single RAW guitar track to a full mix of instruments or a Bass guitar riff. However, the focus must be on the riff. Most entries will probably be guitar based riffs, but they don't have to be.

Aim to keep it to a maximum of 50 seconds. This is about riffs, not songs.
Send your entry (as an mp3) to riffs@theFB.co.uk
Include your forum name in the email.

Voting will start soon after the submission deadline, with each voter selecting their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.
First choice gets 5 points - Second choice gets 3 points - Third choice gets 1 point. The order and scores of the top three entries will be announced soon after the voting ends. 
No prizes. It's just for fun.

    I was trying to do something in the style of a certain famous bass player but I still can't get it to sound "enough in the pocket". I've given up after hours of trying, as my fingers are starting to get blisters.It's in the playlist for what it's worth.

    Sorry I missed this… been a bit tied up with DSM stuff… we have written and recorded 10 tracks in a couple of months!…

    will have some time over the weekend so will get something across… that said it’ll prolly end up as track 11 :)

    Incoming!

    Gear used: 
    D'Angelico Premier EXL1->Treble booster (unknown brand)->Demedash T120->Morley Echo Plus (using vibrato side)->Ibanez GA10 clone->Harry Kolbe 112. Recorded with the Samsung voice recorder on my phone.

    I love the swirl of the T120 and I love the vibratone like sound of the Morley. So I thought, lets combine them and see where it gets me. As usual, recording gives me a great idea of how sloppy and inaccurate my picking is. I laugh my socks of every time I here myself back. Yes, I'm utterly enjoying myself here. (I didn't wear socks when recording this to be honoust.)
