As the process of unloading all my pedals that don't work on bass continues I am now selling a very hard to find Guitarsystems Fuzztool Jnr

It's based on the Fuzz Face but it has a unique extra control, the TMF which is sort of a dynamic tone control and sort of a fuzz enhancer. At low levels that control makes it sound quite polite. At full it seems to add to the fuzz and makes it very aggressive and thick - it's absolutely wonderful with single coils and non-metal humbuckers. (It's a bit over the top with high output buckers).

Although the Guitarsystems website is still up I haven't had any replies to emails from them when I was interested in another of their pedals and on their dealer list they are showing several shops that closed years ago. I suspect they aren't around anymore.

I actually hope someone with a Quad Cortex buys it and profiles it for future generations, with the Gain up full and the TMF in a variety of positions.




It works as it should, there are a few little marks from use (I must have had it for nearly 10 years from new). There is velcro on the bottom.

Full Disclosure - once (just once) I did press the footswitch and nothing happened. I really have no idea if I didn't press it properly or if there was a dodgy contact. It's never happened again, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

As with most FF types, it sucks with EMGs!
But proper singles and a Marshall.... wow!
