I was not in the market for a new amp. In fact of the 4 bass amps I have only 1 gets used all the time.
But you know... GAS




Usually RRP at £700 ish.

But... special offer at Thomann - £159 + vat / import etc. That's cheaper than the pedal preamp its based on!

Presumably it's being discontinued so they are blowing them out.


Sounds good to me though!

    For a little while they were doing the head, a pair of 1x12 cabs, the head bag, and speakon cables for £409+vat.

    I don't need the cabs, but if they had been available I would have taken that deal anyway.

    TONEHENGE!

    It's very good. Very different in drive character than the Darkglass and the cleans are very different to the Mark Bass.
    Plenty loud enough too.

    I suspect the Darkglass might be on the way out...

    That's an impressive stack, and if you're seriously thinking of getting rid of the Darkglass, that's really saying something about the VT!

    It's just a different flavour really - more suited to my current needs.
