  • I took an empty pedal box off of @maharg101 about  a month ago.

Would like to offer up a black nylon strap to whoever wants it.

Just a PSA at this stage.

I have acquired a job lot of Eighties* Jackson/Charvel vibrato spare parts from an ex-John Hornby Skewes employee.

Once I have sorted out exactly what I have here, I shall assemble a few working vibratos bridges. The rest can go for the cost of postage.

    List to follow.

    * JT-6, JT-570, "Kahler" type behind-the-nut string clamp bodies, assorted FR string clamp blocks, that sort of thing.
    Be seeing you.

Hi i've pm'ed you ,i'm going to pass on it as i would have to cannibalise it to fit a Jet JS300 strat and a genuine USA scratchplate deserves to be fitted on a fender body not butchered on a cheap copy, thanks again for your kind offer.

I'll throw this up for grabs

Stock pic because Flickr seem tp be blocking my workshop IP.....

Anyhow's this is a 5 point trem that came off a J&D strat (been replaced with a wilko 2 point) not great as a trem but will fill a hole for those who like to deck theirs, I'll upload some pics of the real unit once i get home.

Just added a remnant of basketweave grill cloth at https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/comment/3143971/#Comment_3143971 and there's still a few other bits and bobs going.
    This one goes to eleven

Hope it's alright to jump in on this thread.

I've got an old Ibanez electro-acoustic that I'm looking to get rid of, which is free to a good home. It's a little beat-up (see attached pics) and I can't vouch that the electronics are still working, but still plays fine, and would make a decent couch guitar, or something for to learn on. I don't have a case or bag for it, and wouldn't trust it being couriered, so looking for collection only in Cambridge or nearby.

I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

For free?  For real?  @DrJazzTap? ; I was going to buy one of those, so very happy to rehome it for you!
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Yes @DrBob has very kindly gifted me a wilkinson trem for my partsacaster, so I'm paying it forward.

It's all yours if you want it mate. Think it only cost me £20 from crack convertors. I'm off on holiday from Monday next week. If you can wait, pm your address and I'll send it out when I get back.

I have two things I can offer up:

Two sets of unopened Newtone nickel electric strings. I'll post these. ***GONE***

    Guages are 10-13-20-26-36-46.

One set is marked Round Core, and the other Hex Core. I am also about 90% sure that the hex ones (and possibly the round ones) have wound G strings, but I can't promise either way. I experimented with some different ones a while back and can't remember what I was left with.

A really beaten up Mono case suitable for a 335. ***gone*** Think its a "M80-HB" model. Still functional but has seen much better days. Collection from Burntisland, Fife.

Erm, probably. Although I don't have a box, so it would probably have to be a bin bag effort?

You did see the photos? its pretty beaten up. https://imgur.com/a/TKD8E9Q

    My turn...

Having just received @Reflex 's guitar hanger, I'm offering the following lowly collection of Strat / Tele bits - the white plastics are looking a bit yellowed and need a clean and the bridge/trem is a bit ropey, but hopefully these are of use to someone:

Hey @RevMatt I believe I was the original custodian of such contraband! I could use those saddles with springs and screws if you still have them. And if still available those knobs. Let me know...

    Cheers,
    James

I’ve got a couple of old multiFX units which I’d happily give to someone just starting out on their guitar journey or a kid interested in guitar. I know I would have loved to have been given some effects when I was learning in my teens.
I’ve put them up for sale in this thread but would give them away to a good home: https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/232555/old-pod-and-zoom-multifx
