I have a message list from ICBM and it looks like this...

CTS 500K Log (10% audio taper), 3/8" thread (length as well as diameter), split/splined shaft

1x folks....a log pot not an audio/log pot

    I think these are fairly close to what you want.

    They are sold as 550K but I think they are over specced to come as close to 500K as possible as there is a 10% tolerance , Most of the ones I bought from them measured around 500K-510K

    Regarding the 10% audio taper.. the taper % value is not stated on the bare knuckle site but I asked Bare knuckle by email and they replied saying it's 10% Taper
    Also when I turn the pot to around halfway the volume increases to around halfway which what I think you would expect to see on a 10% taper.

    I'm no expert like @ICBM on the science on this but .. I think an audio taper is logarithimic so when you turn the pot to it's halway point you would see a 10% increase in output which would then be perceived as a 50% increase in output.
