Really nice pickups with a really neat twist.  Bought a month ago for a guitar I no longer own.   These have Alnico 5 poles for the wound strings and alnico 3 for the unwound.   It gives the low strings a great piano like quality and clarity and the top strings are sweet without the ice pick quality. 

The bridge pickup has a bridge plate fitted by Ash at Oil City to help thicken the tone.  

I don’t have another strat to put these in so they’re up for sale.   They are £48 each plus the bridge plate plus shipping.   So it’s a good saving for what is effectively a new set of pickups.
