Saxophone repairs Essex/Herts/Cambs suggestions

My wife has a lovely old Tenor Sax. Needs a load of work doing - new pads, general service, octave key doesn’t always work etc etc. Needs someone to overhaul it and get it working as it should.

Any help appreciated!

I took mine to Woodwind and Reed in Cambridge. Needed an overhaul with new pads, springs - the works basically. They did a very good job. Was about £300 if I remember correctly which, whilst it sounds a lot, would have been an awful lot of work. They've been about forever and are very reliable but you would need to book in advance as they usually have a waiting list.

had expected £300 ish. It looks so complicated and a hell of a lot of work though. Would be great to get it working 100% again though

+1 for Graham de Vere White - really nice chap. He used to do Mrs Snags' sax when he worked out of John Myatt's in Hitchin (and when Mrs Snags used to actually play her sax).
