OK, so I’m a cheapskate, but it’s a way of life.  I wonder if anyone has an unwanted set of Firebird style tuners going begging?  You know, the banjo-style planetary ones.
I’m planning on converting an old Harley Benton 335 into a 12 string, and can’t live with the idea of paying more for the tuners than I paid for the whole guitar.  My max budget is £35.
By the way, my wife is always telling me to “think it through”.  Good advice, but she hasn’t noticed yet that the acronym for this sage wisdom is TIT.

    Just FYI, I ended up ordering two sets of Chinese banjo-style tuners, pretty cheap.  When/if they turn up I will start my 12 string conversion.  If I can set up hosting I’ll post the pics.
