So this has been on my radar recently.

Anyone have any eperience with either a terz or tenor nylon guitar? Primarily looking for recommendations and direction.

    mentions

Pono Nui that is labelled as a hugely oversized baritone ukulele, but it has pretty much the same dimensions as a tenor guitar:
    Overall length - 35 1/2"
    Scale length - 23"
    Lower bout - 13 5/8"
    Upper bout - 10 1/4"
    Depth LB - 3 13/16"
    Depth UB - 3 1/8"
    Nut width - 1 3/8"

Thats a lovely piece in that video!

Funnily enough I ended up finding the same links. I spoke to the guy at the Ukulele Store. Nice guy, Roger, i think he said his name was. He was telling me about the Pono ULN Terz. He also spoke about the Barritones as an option.

Also considered the Cordoba Requinto 580. Even though it is called a requinto it is actually coming out the shop e-e and it can be tuned to terz tuning on the same HT strings.

    Thanks for posting btw!

How about an Alto classical guitar if we are talking about 6 strings

    6 strings isn't necessarily a given.

So - went for a Cordoba Requinto 580. Even though it is called a requinto - scale seems a little long for that - tuned e to e or G to g so will give a thought when it arrives!
