Sold - Peavey Classic Chorus 130 2x12 combo £100
This is possibly the loudest thing you can carry in one hand! 2 x 65 watts with stereo analogue chorus and vibrato, and lovely spring reverb. Twin channel - the clean channel stays that way as far up the dial as I have been able to take it, whilst the 'lead' channel has gain, saturation and post level controls and a 'thick' switch. Both channels have a 'bright'/ 'normal' switch. The only thing 'wrong' with this amp is that it shares the same EQ controls with both channels, though to be honest, I have never had a problem with this. Also has effects loops. The reverb is a full-length Accutronics spring unit. Nothing digital here.
It's got a few nicks and somewhere along the line the logo fell off the front (no bad thing IMHO as it has to be one of the worst company logos ever!). But overall it's not in bad shape for a 30 something year old amp. Did I mention it's LOUD?! I have seldom had to turn it up past 4 on the clean channel! Usually with the band it managed quite nicely on 2 or 3- and we are not a quiet band!
Anyway, after all that, I'm asking £100. Guaranteed to make ears ring.
