As the open 3rd string is a G, the 5th of a Cm chord, there are open-position C minor chords to be found. A straight Cm is a bit of a beast to play, but once you add on an extension or two things get much easier. Here's the open Cm tendon-buster - 

Cm: x31013 (thumb on 5th string)

and here's a much more playable Cmadd9 -
