Looking to buy a cheap Duo Sonic Body (or similar)

I’ve scored a nice MIM Duo Sonic (22.5inch scale) neck, thinking it would work with a Squier Mini Strat body...it doesn’t, well, not without significant modification, so Im looking for a cheap Duo sonic or similar body that would suit a 22.5 inch scale length...

Ta!

Guitarbuild bodies don’t work Steve. The Squier Mustang doesn't, Ive tried the neck on mine...and the Squier neck works on the Guitarbuild bodies, Ive tried that too, so the short scale neck wont work on a GB body either....issue is scale length, the bridges don’t line up....
This may be the kick up the arse I need to produce a body myself!...

Calling @DrBob - he’s got experience with these necks, might have some insights

Hold up - apparently they’re 22.7”, so the same as a standard 25.5” neck with a capo at the 2nd fret.

Have you tried it on a strat/tele body yet (not a mini)?

Yes they are 22.7, I never made the connection! So I just tried it in a Tele body  (as I have a body out for faffing with) and then laid the neck on top of a complete Strat, it looks pretty good to me! I’ll investigate further later by getting a Strat body out of the loft....
Thanks for the info...I can feel another project coming on!

Paul, on the guitar that I took the neck off of to sell to you I’ve replaced it with a 22 fret, 25.5” scale neck from a Washburn G Jr and although I did have to widen the neck pocket slightly the back of the neck pocket was in the right place for the intonation to work but crucially the 22nd fret isn’t on an overhang like it is on a Fender
