@Skipped ; - IIRC, Postimage put a limit on the resolution of the picture you could use on their free package. Not in terms of how big you could upload, but how big it would appear when linked. A shame, as they're probably the simplest of the lot. They also offer plug-ins for forums, but I don't think they do one for this particular forum software - @digitalscream ?

Effectively we already have a plugin for this forum, which works with any image host rather than being specific to PostImage.

Oh, I know that, @TTony . It's just that so many people don't appear to be able to find it.

And if it were possible to replace all the variables with a single hosting option, you might not be trying to pull all the different options together, and have folks telling you they use Imgur when you've specifically asked them not to...

If only we could! @Jonathangus !

But even if we could, and people did, it'd be a sure bet that the host we settled on then did a Photobucket and started charging, or changed their structure so that all the old links broke, or did something else equally unhelpful.

It's not too hard as things are today. As long as the user puts the correct info into the attach image/file pop-up, then it does work fairly reliably.
