WTB jazzmaster pickups SORTED

I fancy something a bit different in my Jazzmaster. It’s currently got some Duncan hot/QP pickups which are nice but I’m up for a change.

Open to anything really, WRHB or something more vintage voiced would be cool. Ta

What shape pickup routs does your guitar have? The cavities for "proper" single coil JM pickups are wide and shallow. Very few alternative pickups will fit without the need to deepen the cavities.

It’s a jazzmaster so jazzmaster routes... that’s why I suggested I’m looking for jazzmaster pickups. Thanks for trying to be helpful though!

Mojo Jazzmaster pickups come highly recommended. If you want something a bit different have a look at The Creamery.

Yes but the wait time is 40+ days. This isn’t a recommendation thread I’m just looking for some second hand pickups that I can buy and try out sooner than March.

Consider adding a Jaguar-style bass cut switch to your JM circuit. (Probably as a push-pull pot.)

Mea culpa. I took this abbreviation in its conventional usage, representing the Fender Wide Range Humbucker. (Hence all the stuff about pickup cavities.)

The Creamery Extra Width Wide Range pickups are direct retrofit. Good luck finding anyone who has paid full MSRP but is now willing to sell relatively cheaply.

Mojo and The Creamery both quote wait times of over forty days. The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop could take even longer - depending on how arsey H.M. Customs chooses to be.

Only trying to be helpful. I watch these pickups on eBay and Jazzmaster and WRHB rarely come up for sale, i'm afraid it might be quicker to order and wait. I don't know anyone else who makes good quality Jazzmaster pickups. Other than Seymour Duncan.
