Takamine value.. little help please?

Seeing as how I haven’t even got my acoustic out of its case in god knows how long I think I need to move it on. Thing is, it’s quite a rare beast so I’m not sure how to value it. eBay  doesn’t throw up much except one at what I think is an optimistic £1200, but that one's in Australia anyway.

It’s a F370SS, all solid dreadnaught with spruce top and koa back and sides. Takamine only made them for a couple of years, in 98 and 99. I’ve had it from new, bought from Unplugged in Hanwell, when they were still going. It’s in very condition apart from from a couple of seriously tiny marks and it’s cased with all the original bits it came with.

Ideas?
Ta.

As a Takamine owner (a '97 model with a spruce top and koa back and sides, like yours) I keep an eye on secondhand prices when I see them. I don't go out of my way to keep track. I see F370SS models occasionally pop up with asking prices between £550 and £750. Whether they sell at those prices I do not know.

Recent experience would suggest there are so many nice looking cheap guitars around at the moment that good quality is not the only priority.

I have a scrappy but beautiful sounding ef360s (pre GF signature model) which I wanted to part ex and the manager of the shop told me not to bother taking it out of the case as he couldn't sell it.

If there's a way to focus on knowledgeable buyers it might be more useful.

On the other hand, as a knowledgeable buyer I picked up a nice ef341sc (yay!) but not at a particularly bargain price (boo!).
