NGD Baritone Acoustic

What's Hot
I’ve been wanting a baritone acoustic for a while and found this 40% off at Guitar Village when down visiting family. I wasn’t specifically looking to buy anything but this was too good a deal to pass up.

It’s a 28” scale spruce topped Jumbo, has an onboard Pre with tuner. I wanted something more suited to lower tuning and needed it to have a pickup for use at open mic nights. It could do with the action lowering a little bit and some fresh strings but otherwise I’m happy with it and it’s a bargain for the price.

In the past I’ve always worried that going above 27” was too long for me but I found this pretty easy to play. Looking forward to trying it with some new strings and tweaking the setup to my liking.

Guitar Village is a nice shop, well worth a visit if you’re ever in the area!

I recommend trying it in a lowered DADGAD tuning

Yeah I’ll give it a go!

The primary tuning it will be used in is C#/Drop
B which it should sound fantastic for. I’m thinking a set of 13s should work well for this.

I’ve got a 25.5” jumbo already but you really notice it doesn’t handle the low B too well, so I’m going to tune that back up to standard.
