Loose tuner

What's Hot
I have a Breedlove Atlas acoustic and when I was re-stringing it the other day I noticed that the low E tuner was loose and a little wobbly with no string on. I tried tightening the screw but it seems to just turn, like the hole has just got a bit too big.
When the string in on and to tension it's fine.

Should I be worried and repair the hole so it doesn't get worse, or is it nothing to worry about?

common problem for me on my old stuff.  I remove the tuner and pack the hole with a few splints of wood. Something like a match stick broken up. No real need for glue in there as there’s very little stress on it. Then job done

Use toothpicks rather than matchsticks, they’re more solid.  ;)
