I bought this DJW parlour guitar made by luthier David Woodcock who’s based in Sussex at the Kempton Park Guitar Show on Sunday. I wasn’t expecting to buy anything but came away with this wonderful instrument.
I can’t emphasis enough how impressed and delighted I am with this guitar. It plays like a dream – so easy to finger the fretboard – better than any other acoustic I’ve ever played and I’ve played some good ones.
And of course it sounds stunning too. The clarity and depth of the tone is superb.
Scale length is 24.9”
Soundboard is English cedar with Bubinga (don’t ask me!) back and sides. Ebony fretboard. The neck is Mahogany/Pupleheart/Maple and Rosewood. Schaller tuning gear.
Base theme by DesignModo & ported to Powered by Vanilla by Chris Ireland, modified by the "theFB" team.
