  • That's weird. Try to PM me the text and I'll see if I can post it here.

I have to say I'm a lot more curious now about what you've got in your parts drawer than i would have been usually.

  • I expect this is annoying, but are you copying from Microsoft Word (or similar)? I've had real headaches in the past on sites I've built where people have pasted text from Word with invisible formatting bollocks that completely messed everything up.

Just a thought, if you can copy and paste into an email. Send it to yourself and then copy/paste from there?

  • If you haven't tried this already, paste it into a really simple text editor - on Windows it'd be Notepad, on Mac it's Text Edit. In Text Edit, at least, it defaults to text being RTF (with bold/italic and other formatting), so select it all and select Make Plain Text from the Format menu (there'll probably be an equivalent in Notepad, which I'm not familiar with at all). Then try copying it from there and pasting into the text entry box here.

Some word processors do completely invisible things to the text that can really fuck things up, so the best thing is to convert to plain text, even though what you've got might already look like plain text.

Paste into notepad then copy from there and paste here. Easy way to strip formatting.

  • No, your way is better. Fewer words. I've had too much coffee. Must ... have ... more ... coffee.

Looks like one bobbin from a humbucker with a mounting plate intentionally designed for use as a single coil. Reminds me of the third coil on the Hamer Prototype or the middle position pickup on a Gibson Nighthawk.
    Be seeing you.
